Seoul Open Night - Aug 22 from 2pm - midnight - multiple venues across Seoul

Seoul Open Night
Enjoy the City's Culture till Midnight Comes

Celebrate Seoul's culture from 2pm straight to midnight on Saturday, Aug 22 when the city celebrates "Seoul Open Night."

On this special evening, the palaces, museums and performance halls of Jeong-dong, Bukchon, Daehangno, Insa-dong and Hongdae will open till midnight. A 10,000 won pass will grant you entry into all five neighborhoods' cultural spaces and performances --- and there are a lot of them (roughly 200 or so).

The pass can be bought online at www.interpark.com or purchased at information booths that will be set up in the five areas on the day of the event. In the afternoon, you can participate in tours of the city's architecture, an opportunity to reexamine the city's architectural beauty --- walking tours and bus tours are available.

Registration for architectural tours can be made online at http://cafe.naver.com/seoulopennight --- some 30 to 40 applicants will be selected for each area.
