Seoul International Jazz Festival - Oct 9 - 11, 2009


Seoul Jazz Festival will be held for the first time at the Gwanak-gu Science Exhibition Hall and Nakseongdae Park.
The Seoul Jazz Festival will be held for three days from Oct. 9 through Oct. 11. The festival featuring amateur and professional jazz musicians will offer an unforgettable experience.

Seong Si-gyeong and the military band will perform along with jazz harmonica player Jeon Je-deok, and Korean jazz singers Woongsan and Malo. From abroad will come lyrical jazz pianist Ron Branton, saxophone player Grace Kelly and jazz saxophone player James Moody. Top jazz musicians from Korea and abroad will come together to create fantastic jazz harmony. Amateur international jazz contest for amateur bands and underground bands, performances by popular singers and other programs will make jazz more accessible.

Getting There: Go out exit 4 of Naksungdae Station (stop 227). Take the #02 Maul Bus (small bus) to the Science Museum (과학전관 - sounds like: kwahakshangwa)
