The aim of City_net Asia 2009 is to promote cultural exchange among major Asian cities and to actively introduce young promising artists to the audience. City_net Asia 2009 will present talented young artists who have emerged in the domestic art scene of each participating country. Artists selected by the curators from their respective countries have worked together with the curators to create works that reflect particular social and cultural issues of their own countries.
The participating museums are the Today Art Museum in Beijing, the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Istanbul Modern and Seoul Museum of Art.
All genres of modern fine art such as paintings, photographs, sculptures, installations, images / about 100 pieces
Attending artists:Participating artists: 40 artists in total from Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing and Istanbul
Other participating artists include: Gulsun Karamustafa, Sukran Moral, Sener Ozmen & Erkan Ozgen, Hale Tenger, Nil Yalter, Canan Senol, Hakan Onur, Hakan Gursoytrak, Murat Akagunduz
