Free Calligraphy lessons, near Insadong, Mondays

Free Calligraphy lessons:

The Korean Calligraphers' Assn. welcomes any ex-pat living in Seoul to its weekly Korean Calligraphy lesson. No previous experience needed. No artistic talent is a must. Cut off number: 15.

It is held in room 1203 in Swoon building (this is the headquarter center for Cheondo religion of Korea) which is located across the street from Unhyungung Palace, not far from Anguk station. You can walk from Insadong or straight from Fraser Suite. It is on Mondays from 2pm to 4 pm.

The initial material costs 46,000won but lesson fee is free.

The Association will be holding a special exhibition in October 2009 in Seoul and the classes will likely end just before that. Students will be invited to exhibit if they wish.
