International exhibition- "First Stop on the Super Highway" - Opening at NJP Art Center, Gyeonggido, Sat March 7 - May 16


This is an international exhibition of contemporary art curated by Tobias Berger.
Title : The First Stop on the Super Highway
Schedule : 7 March (Sat.) –16 May (Sun.), 2009
Venue : 2nd floor of the Nam June Paik Art Center
Artists : Nam June Paik, and Abramovic/Ulay, Cory Arcangel, George Brecht, Robert Breer, Young-HaeChang Heavy Industries + Takuji Kogo, Fluxus, Ham Jin, Joohyun Kim, Dennis Oppenheim, Pak SheungChuen, Taro Shinoda, Santiago Sierra, Mieko Shiomi, Sue Tompkins, Lawrence Weiner, Xijing Men (Gimhongsok, Tsuyoshi Ozawa, Chen Shaoxiong), La Monte Young.

Opening : 7 March (Sat.), 2009 at 5pm
Opening Performance : 7 March (Sat.), 2009 at 6pm.
Open daily: 10am -7pm
Admission: 3,000 won (General), 2,000 won (Groups of over 20 people) . Free entrance for children, students and seniors
Free guided tours daily on weekdays at 2pm and 4pm, weekends at 1pm, 2pm and 4pm.













To Visit the NJP Art Center:
Fastest Transportation from Seoul (every 20 minutes) is by bus which takes approx. 30 minutes, cost: 1800 Won.
From Center of Seoul: Red 5000 or 5005 buses, stop at the red bus stop in front of the KB* Bank, opposite the Lotte-Department Store, close to Euljiro1-ga subway station (green line #2).
Buses also stop in Hannam-dong (across from Dan-Kuk University).
From South Seoul: Gangnam Station, take the Red 5001 and 5003 buses to Shingal.
After turning off the highway at Shingal, get off at the second stop which is the Shingal Pashulso (Police Station). From there, the NJP ART CENTER is 300 meters away.
